It's time to get number 7
It's time to get number 7
troy's pick was insane!!!!
Zero running game. [glare]at O line[/glare]
Better play when Ben goes no huddle. Which leads me to think someone on sideline better stop with the suck calls.
So umm can we just go no huddle all season...it works better.
Defense and special teams I have nothign to complain about. They look good.
BS calls be refs. Good to see they haven't gotten any better either.

While watching these games even last year, am I the only one who feels parker is not the best fit for this team? Yeah he would be alright for 3rd downs but this running up the middle bullshit is not his thing.
The only time he looks alright is when we play against a below average def line. At least mendenhall breaks through the initial hit, WTF does everyone see in willie?
Special Teams and Defense are doing their jobs, as usual. Don't worry.

Don't forget folks. Tennessee was the best team during the regular season last year. And their rush defense is GREAT. The 3 most physical defenses in the league are the Steelers, the Ravens, and the Titans - in that order.
That being said, Tennessee was pressing the line of scrimmage most of the game - I'd say at least 80% of the time they had 8 guys in the box and 8-10 guys at the line of scrimmage. Sorry, but there isn't a running back that can produce good numbers against a defense playing that way. Parker is not the problem. Honestly, I don't think the O-line is the problem. You just can't expect to run effectively against a line that is stacked like that for nearly the whole game.
Tennessee dared us to beat them thru the air. In the first half, the O-line struggled against the pressure. But late in the first half, and for most of the second half, the O-line manned up and gave Ben enough time ( barely ) to get rid of the ball. You have to realize that games against teams like Tennessee and the Ravens are NEVER going to be pretty. Like Tomlin says - style points don't matter.
In the end, I think that 400 yards of total offense againt the Tennessee defense was a very solid effort. Ben played very well. Heath Miller - damn that guy is reliable! Santonio is on his way to becoming a top-tier receiver and I think his speed and toughness are WAY underrated. Mewelde is easily worth double what we pay him. He makes all the catches and has become very good at picking up blitzes to give Ben that extra second to make a play. I feel for Hines - if it weren't for that fumble we'd be saying he had a great game. But don't hold your breath waiting for him to cough it up again - the last time it happened was in 2006.
Sepulveda - wow is it nice to have that guy back! Special teams are a notch above last year because of him.
Logan - talk about a steal! I think he will make the pro-bowl as a returner if he stays healthy. The stadium holds its breath when he runs back the ball. Special teams - now 2 notches above last year.
Jeff Reed - what can you say. He is MONEY!!!!!!!!!
The defense was incredible. We held one of the most potent and explosive run offenses from producing any real yardage, even with Johnson's one 30+ yard run. Troy looked better than ever prior to his injury. His pic was ridiculously amazing. The pass interference call against him was horrendous - the refs should be disciplined for that one. The facemask against him didn't look like it was legit either. Look for this defense to be every bit as good as they were last year.
I think the Bears are going to get their asses handed to them next Sunday...

thats y mine is better, lol 1-0 great start
I think the offensive line is still in need of work. They aren't getting the job done for the running backs. I think Parker is fine. Only the 4th undrafted player to go over 5,000 yards. Ben is definitely really becoming one of the top QBs in the league.
You know how they fine the players if they do something wrong? Why can't the ref's get fined every time they make a bad call?
Ok - let's kick some Chicago Bear butt!!!!!!
