    is it hard to to put a hurstshifter in

    thinking bout getting a hurst is it hard to put in ?
    1992 camaro RS 5.0 V8 (sold)
    2007 Dodge Charger se 3.5 V6 (traded)
    2007 white Mustang Gt 4.6 v8

    Mods
    pypes catback dual pipe exaust.

    they arent to bad, you will need to jack the car up pretty high and have some mechanical experience to so it...

    Why would u need to jack the car up to change the shifter? The only PITA is you have to remove the center console to get access to the lower shift boot bolts.

    I just put an MGW shifter in my completely from the inside, not on jacks.

    05 and up are different. its more than just the base

    Those are a little more tricky to do than a regualr old T5, but still not bad. Ya dont need to rip anything major off the car to put it on (i.e. driveshaft). When I did the one on the car I did, it almost looked liek you needed to remove it if I recall. Been a while... HTH!!
