12.20s for me. Temps were cool, but the humidity was a bear.

White AWD Talon went 10.17 at 142.

    '66 Chevelle went 8.95, '70 AMX went 9.40.

Lot of nice cars again, 6 runs if you got there for the first session.

Real nice red notch ran 11.0s at 120.

Anyone know who has the blue notch, car # 023, real nice drag radial car? Against me, he went 9.73 at 154, with only a 1.75 60'. About the 1000', it was smoking. He was 2 seconds ahead of me, so I was watching to see if he got squirrelly, and he didn't. I was thinking it was tire rub, and I didn't see anything leaking when I got behind him through the shut down and turned on my headlights. Wondering if he hurt it?

Based on what the clocks said last night I'd say you are about right. However, I know from driving the car last night that the clutch definitely impeded on the trap speed. There is more there, I just need time and money to get it. LOL!

2001GTTT- This combo basically consists of stuff I had laying around that found its way onto the car because something that was on it needed replaced. The exhaust went on because the stock cats had fallen apart and were clogging the pipe, the headers went on because I couldn't get the studs for the stock headers out of the stock H pipe, the heads and timing chain went on because I broke a motor mount bolt off in the block and the engine had to be removed to get it out, etc. Eventually, this car will have all of the parts from my yellow car's old stock shortblock setup before I blew it up. In that car it went 12.03 at 112.5mph, so I expect more from this lighter weight coupe.

What was the peak RWHP in the drop top when it went 12.03? And what will be the min. weight of the Cobra when the weight reduction is complete?

LOL! What was your quote... "stop slipping the clutch, feed it RPM and treat it as an on/off switch???" LOL! I ran on drag radials for so many years that I can not force myself to just side step the clutch.

As for weight... I'm not sure. I hope to do the MM K member and A arms, put in my lightweight battery, race seats, etc. I don't know where it'll end up power wise but it'd be awesome to come in around 3000lbs w/o me.

LOL! I know... I know... I'll be the first to admit that I was fearful of breaking something and didn't go balls out on the launch because of it. I have an autocross this weekend that I didn't want to miss in Cumberland.

Clutches are binary. Whack the throttle and see how fast you can get your left foot out of the way ;)

I had a good time hanging out with everyone last night. It was nice to have some fun at the track again ;)

I think Paul needs back support for driving that car. Suspension just does not move at all when I tried pushing down on car. Have a F650 at work that has more give to it

I went 12.64@107 car dead hooked and bogged hard and I launched at 6grand. Went 12.38@110 next two passes and last pass was a 12.33@110. Sixties were all over the place as I swapped slicks and car did not like that at all. Sidewalls are hammered in one direction. Plus I was rather slow with the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts lastnight
