    2003 Terminator crashed....

Well, here I was writing that post asking about the fact if our Cobra is a real SVT Cobra or a "CLONE" and I was nearly ready to hit send when I get a cal from the wife..... Grab the digital camera and run down to town, the car is wrecked! No F'ing way! I at first accused her joking, but heard the near crying shake in the voice. O.O.

So it was parked at the very outer edge of McDonalds, as far from all cars as you can possably be and still be on the property. This is approx 48 hrs after getting the pink slip...... A young female child of approx 17-19 years of age struck the front left side of the front bumper cover with her left rear corner. It appears to have struck kind of hard. Not too bad, but ya know what..... it SUX!

As usual, pics will follow. Give me a few moments to upload to Photobucket.

The pictures..... imagine the luck! I am not going out in any lightning storms... my ass will be fried like KFC!

And what caused this accident? This car....

Notice, she must be experianced at hitting things! Every corner has "rub marks" from her style of driving.

At looks like an easy fix.

On another note: Someone take that b!tches liscense away from her before she really hurts someone. She was probably on the cell phone flapping her jaws.

looking at the pics again, it's a good thing that copper didn't set his metal clipboard down on your hood. wtf? that other car looks smashed to bits all over, but there's still no excuse to scratch it up more with your po po tablet.

Yesterday was good/bad. The car got crashed very minor like.... bad.
Car passed PA state Emissions and the PA state safety inpection.... Good.
Took it to Lester's garage to use his lift....
Put new front pads on the Aerospace Componants 4 piston drag brakes.... Very difficult to open the pistons.... but Goood.
Filler rear axle with 80W-90 grease, cleaned vent on axle tube.... Good
Found a ton of loose bolts, tightened them all....Good.
Cut the hangers off the mufflers and moved the exhaust up about 2"..... good.
Raised the Bilstein struts 0.5" on all 4 corners to add some more ground clearance.... good.
Found that 4 bolts were missing from the various JBL exhaust 3-bolt flanges, put in new bolts and tightened the exhaust.....good.
Got the missing nuts/bolts for the roll cage and installed and tightened that....good.
Repaired the wire green/red-stripe in trunk that got cut from stuff abraiding the wire loom across the back. Replaced the #33 fuse that supports the rear brake lights on the cobra and got rear brake lights back!.....GOOD!

    To do yet:
    Nitto N55 tires
    Change lube in Eaton
    Change engine/trans/rear axle to Amsoil.
Slide it away for the winter under a cover and wait for next year once the roads are cleaned.
    Go drag race!
Go to Beaver Run and try out a road course with my pals that race up there!
    Have fun!

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Hang in there - soon it'll be winter and your car will be safely stored in the garage...

Is the girl who hit your car the girl in the photos? And if that's her - is she texting in each photo?

Na, I doubt it is cursed. Just call it shit-luck.
It'll be all better in a week or two. The one good thing is that the little girls dad has Erie Ins. and we also have Erie Ins. so it is a pain-free process to get it taken care of.
