That thing is great, i just bought a 98, 4.0 and really like it alot....always thought they were junk....but ive towed three cars in two days and love it...my buddy just pickd up a 5.9 grand cherokee and its the twin to yours...but a few years older Great on long distance trips too!!!

I had a 5.9 limited too I loved the thing, we had a 2000 we liked alot as well
my dad just sold his 97 4.0 210,000 100% original minus brakes shocks and sway bar links
These 4.7s seem to be a good running motor

I'm sure it will, they are great vehicles, really get to love the things.
all the 4.0s we have owned have been well over 200k never had a engine failure yet

I when it comes home i plan on stripping off the bug shield and the vent shields
Im not wild about the chrome door handles im not sure if they are staying yet

Looks good! Good luck with it. I gotta laugh, you're taking off the vent shades and that's usually the first thing I put on a car.
