Yes, it still has the Aerospace Componants front drag brakes on it.
These are getting changed, we ordered the $400 kit from Aerospace Products to put the heavier vented (street legal) disks on, the offset caliper brackets and wider calipers to fit over the much thicker rotors. The rotors on it now are a solid non-vented rotor similar to the rear rotors on some of the early rear disk brake cars. The callipers are very light billt allum with billet allum pistons.. They feel fake in your hand.
I would be pretty damn stoked to break out of 12's in to high 11's. That would pretty sick on a mild street car that runs pump gas. Getting low 11's is nuts. Sweet, but nuts!

so did you ever run it? My heavy pig went 11.90's@116 leaving at idle and not powershifting on drag radials. Can't wait to beef the IFS up, launch at 4500 and powershift it. I don't think it will go real low 11's, but prolly in the 20's or 30's.
Mine has absolutely no weight reduction at all. Need to scale it, but has to be 3950ish

No, not run yet. It's been sleeping for a couple months already. November 1st was the end of it's 2009 life. The ins died until next spring. Right now it is up on stands and being looked over when I care enough to deal with it. Today was one of those days, hence I am back here with questions. New post to come....

Ran it last night at PRP on the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires.... wow, pretty bad as far as hooking up and transmitting power to the terra-firma!
Spinning wildly, it put a best of 13.00 even.
Now we need to find a spare set of wheels and a set of drag tires, the car can do so much better.... it's a waste of time trying to race on a tire like this. It is like drag racing in a snow and ice storm.
Anyone have some wheels and tires for my 03 Vert with the "Bulletproof 8.8" conversion? It also has the 1" spacers on the rear end.

Glad you got it to the track.
Still fun, but those tires will not work as you found out :(
My brother has a set of polished 15x8 Weld Pro Stars that came off an '04 Cobra, 15x8 5.5" BS.
Would be perfect to mount a set of drag tires on.
They are perfect condition but a cap was damaged so he wants $200 for the pair, no caps.
I live in Beaver, could meet you easy.
Let me know.

And I ran my knobbie tired Dual Sport (2009 Kawasaki KLR 650):
Dial In = NONE
Reaction = .3539

330 foot = 6.1774

1000 foot MPH = NONE
1/4 ET = 15.3911
1/4 MPH = 81.45
I know it is a 435 LB 36 HP bike on knobbie tires, I did not expect it to be fast!
I was hoping to see low 16's out of it, so low 15's made me happy.
