From this angel it looks like the weight on the rear end is really low but it's higher than the lowest part of the rear end cover. And the e-brake cables look like there touching the tail pipes but there's about 2 1/2" of room took 5 hours to do the switch. (got to use a rack and air tools) The E-brake cables and inside handle out of the 95 SN-95 worked out great. I was doing a post on how to do this conversion quick and easy on a budget but I got slammed hard for not spending thousands on a kit. It was implied my work would look like crap because of used parts and stuff from Autozone. But I'll tell you what I got under $600 in everything--everything rear end and control arms and all. For the price I think it looks ok for a budget project.
And at 35, 50 and 65 the fronts lock up before the rears and it skids down the road straight. Rear end is used with new bearings 3:55 posi. This fox is really close to being V-8 ready

Looks good! Anytime you can do something on a tight budget that gets good results works for me! I've always been on a very tight budget so I know how it is. I've even used the barter system to get parts/work done on my Bird.

Very cool, looks great oldfox. I hope to do something similar soon. Need to go to 5-lug before the winter, my snow tires are on my old 2003 wheels.
