Scott, Travj... does that transluscent plastic make you guys crazy? Mine was scratched to hell (in my opinion) when I picked the bike up. I've seen lots of peeps bitching about it on the diff. buell forums. I love the way it looks, but I'm already thinking about having the tank and flyscreen painted the same gloss black as the front fender and keeping the red wheels.
On another note, I remember a thread about a side-mount plate. Is it legal or not in PA? and who cares?
The belt guard mounting points would make a great place to put a couple L-brackts and mount it right there. What to do with the cheese-grater, though. I'm not spending $140 on a custom tail. Anybody take a saw, hand-grinder and fine sand paper and grind that bitch down to a nub on your own?

making your own tail section is easy. I just have to find a use cheese grater which is expensive so i can keep my stock one just to have it.
The plastics i have also been thinking about just blacking mine out with black lid and fly screen but the airboxx lid is 241 so im sticking with my blue. haha
And i was going to go with the side plate but i just decided to go with chopped fender
and look into getting a low seat. I love mine and it was a HUGE improvement over the stock
