Please someone tell me real racing wasn't settled using a damn practice tree. I know it rained all weekend but to waste peoples time with a practice tree....COME ON IHRA seriously

It wasn't IHRA's decision. All the tracks voted on it and majority ruled. Unfortunately not all the track live with in a hour of PRP and couldn't race Thursday which at the time looked like the next available day.

Go read the threads on DRR. They say everything.

It wasn't IHRA's or PRP's decision. It was the vote of the 11 track operators, with the majority of votes getting the win, like Mikey said. It was pretty damn frustrating, after sitting in the rain all day Saturday, and most of Sunday.

I have added Dragway 42 to my list of one of the tracks I will never race at.

Sorry but I would have left. Wouldn't matter if I was in Flordia racing I would have left on hearing of a practice tree to settle things.

I would of followed you out Ed. I know this was a tough situation with the rain and the forcast but calling it off completely had to be better than a practice tree as a solution.
