would porting my stock heads do much tim?
i know that gt40s will make power with a good port job, but if you brought them to me it would cost 450$

My 94 has an E303. It has an amazing sound to it and makes some good power

Scrap the Vic Jr's and get some TW's and a TW1 cam. No PTV issues and good power and sound.

I know (and you should know :) ) those '94-95s can be tricky to tune.
I'd just ask Don what cam he's had sucess with.
Also agree with Rob, the TFS TW is the best head with stock pistons and can be ported in the future to support BIG power.
Heads make you power, so put your money there. I'm sure the ported GT40s would be OK, but I'd go aluminum.
Good luck.

I like my Holley heads, but if I was going to do the H/C/I again I would get AFR 165's, Holley Systemax upper/lower, and a custom cam.
thats the only crappy thing about the victor jrs, they have huge 2.05 intake vlaves and the stock pistons will need to be notched and thats a ton of work...

tim wat other heads could I use with stock piston until I can buy my rotating assembly, would the afr's work?
alright thanks dan, I'm just looking or something I can use until I can build a bottom end
my second choice if we cant use the vic jrs would be the trick flows.. but if you are thinking of buying a head for future use, then you should get something that has stud mount rockers and that means you will have to buy new rocker arms also. this is my opinion so take it how you want, your gt40s are just as good as afr 165s, i have seen almost the exact power from guys with either heads (ported gt40s of coarse)

+1. My heads are still pedestal mount. I'm fine with that for now but when I go to build a new motor, these heads will be sold and I'll be upgrading to a stud-mount rocker-style head. I got my heads for a good price so I compromised on the pedestal mount aspect of them.
