    And if I may add, the average power production will also effect the e.t./MPH package as a whole. In the example you cited above, if the trap speed is 111 flat, the ideal e.t. works out to be roughly 12.19 with that given mph. Running near, e.g.,(within a tenth to a tenth and a half) the ideal clearly indicates that the combo was generating very good avg. power. Of course, many other variables effect the e.t./MPH package including the shear 3,700 lbs. curb weight!

    It is not uncommon for a well thought out combo to flat out e.t. another similiar combo e.g.,( identical displacement, gearing, vehicle weight, peak RWHP, etc.) and as Paul's example proves, in a street car at that, doing the R&D speaks volumes.
