Plus, I gave up alcohol for lent so I can't even have a beer while I watch the games.

Yup. I'd like to pull the two points out of New Jersey and keep them from getting them to further extend our lead in the division.

I think it's an embarrasing loss. We come out every game strong then peter out. We can't hold leads to save our life. 80% of our games were decided by one goal.

Unless something drastic happens, IMO we won't go far in the P/O's. This D just doesn't cut it. the power play is powerless. This team just doesn't impress me at all. I hope i'm wrong on this one..

This is not the time to go into a slump either.

We were playing our best hockey at this time last year. We need that again going into the playoffs.

Better than someone thats afraid of admitting when his team looked like crap.

I'm not impressed with the way they look now vs the way they looked before. Anyone with a brain can see we are sloppy in our own end all the sudden, fluery is shaky, and inconsistant. Really the only thing that looks ok to me right now is our offensive play. It seems like we can't hold a lead. A shutout is a HUGE deal for us this year.

I say it how I see it, just like everyone else here. Not everyone looks at things the same way, so take your insults and shove them.

Fleury hasn't been lookin to good since after the Olympic break, so um with ya there John. The Pens move the puck actually better than any team I've ever seen. But sometime's especially on the PP they just play with it to much! Stop waiting for the perfect play. They've been gettin alot of shots lately, but still gettin the puck to the net more is alwayz a must.

So....game time in about an hour.

I'm firing up the grill right now and cooking some steak and chicken.

I think they are penetrating the offensive zone with more confidence and being able to set up and cycle better then they were doing earlier this season.

With that said, their defense has been lacking a bit. I'm not all that impressed with Jordan Leopold although I'm still open to better form my opinion. But yes, they have looked pretty sloppy in their own end and in times, in the oppositions end. (cough, devils game, cough)

I think they have more then enough of what it takes to get it done in the playoffs but we'll have to wait and see how that pans out.

For now, lets kick the Wings ass.

So I'm watching the Devils/Blue Jackets game pulling for Blue Jackets to pull off a huge win to keep the Devils behind us.

Of course I have to watch the Devils score all 5 of their goals. Ugh....

Great game today. Its always nice to destroy the Flyers. I have tickets to the game next Saturday. Anyone else going? Also, if anyone has any extra tickets my brother is wanting to go, he's never been to a game.
