Exactly and thats why I think Shero did it again.

He's getting us guys we really need without giving up anything that's really going to hurt us. This puts us in even more contention for another cup run.

I agree. Everyone knew we needed a good winger and d-man. Like you said, I don't feel lke we lost much at all.

I highly doubt that but Adams did really step up in the play-offs last year.

Either way, they're looking pretty decent.

Yeah, I just think rupp has all the attributes adams has. Mabey not as good on the PK.....But rupp is deffinitly more of an enforcer and it's a no brainer when looking at the offensive stats. Like I said, Adams has his spot and does alot of the little things, I just think we would miss rupp a lil more than him.

No one enforces in the playoffs though...so given the choice of Adams or Rupp for the playoffs I would go with Adams.

Just me though...

Poni is gonna be huge for that second line! Like Steiny said...Shero did it again!

Leopold is a great pick up for nothing in return, and I really don't see either being rentals. Even if they are, I have no problem with winning now and worrying about the future later...

As long as we are solid down the middle with Crosby, Malkin, Staal and Fleury...you can plug in wings and grinders as you see fit and as your money situtation allows.

I remember Goddard in the first, possibly 2nd round of the P/O's last year? Mabey I'm clouded by all the brown bottles I had on the table in front of me...

Goddard hasn't dressed for a single playoff game since he played 5 with Calgary in 08.

Other than the Utility freelance work I did in the 08' Stanley Cup Finals for the TV crews. I actually gone to my first 2 games as a spectator this year since I was a kid.
