I cant believe it... Philly playing for the cup???? WTF?

I'm cringing saying this, but I'm rooting for philly. I like how they're a bunch of goons that beat you up but have some skill as well. It's strange how teams gel at the right time. Pittsburgh did when they had to last year, and now after that comeback against boston, philly hasn't let up.

Yea, alot of Pens fans bailed on the playoffs when the Pens got eliminated. I noticed that not only here, but in general. I think alot of the "new" fans that came on board during the first Stanley Cup run bailed on hockey once the Pens weren't there for them to watch anymore.

This is a hockey town at times...but just like anything...you loose the casual hometown sports fan once the hometown teams gets eliminated.

I myself was enjoying watching the Blackhawks raise the cup!

no kidding... i was watching OT on the edge of my seat, praying for a Chicago win!!

As far as teh bandwagon fans..... you have that everywhere, with every sport, with every team... if you ask me, its good for the sports...ppl hate bandwagon fans, but all it means is that there is growth in the sport and in interest in general.. for every 10 fans that come on as a part of the bandwagon, i bet 5 of them become fans for life...... so i don't think its anything bad....

I never knew squat about hockey until my sophomore year in college... so that was like 6 years ago... a friend got me into it, and i've been hooked ever since

I think Crosby has another great season... I think Geno returns from his "slump" of last season ......

As far as the playoff run - its all up to Fleury ..... if he's solid, then i think we go deep and contend for another Cup.... if he's hideous like last year, then it'll be amazing to get outta the first round....
