Sunday Crusie 10/4

Hello everyone! This Sunday Oct 4th Mystang and myself plus our wifes are plaining to take our stangs for a nice fall cruise. "Weather permitting" We our planing on meeting at Bill's Golfland on RT. 51 south in Rostraver around 11am. Then take Rt 51 south to Uniontown. Drive up over the summit on Rt 40 and then take RT 381 to Ohiopyle. Spend a couple hours there drinking some beer and cooking some burgers. After that, staying on 381 till we get to Rt 31 near seven springs and taking that back to I70 then home. Will be back home way before the Steeler game starts. :)

If anyone would like to join us, you are welcome to do so. It will be a nice cruise to take your better half and look at the leafs Changing. This cruise is BYOB and BYOF. If you would like to join us, please post here.

Take I-70 to Rt. 51 North. Its about 3 or so mile down Rt. 51 north on the left side of the road.

Hey Eric, If you guy's are going to be at Ohiopyle why not take a little cruise to a little town called Confluence? They are having a nice Pumpkin fest this weekend and tomarrow is thier car show. Even if you don't show you should stop by. I'm not sure of rt. numbers but if you know the Yough dam is, it's just down the road from there.

Somethings have come up. We'll have to break off from the group at some point, we have to be home alittle earlier but we'll still be there.

x2 about the pumpkinfest...for a small town show they always get a nice turnout (150-250 cars). your actually only about 8 miles away from ohiopyle. if your in ohiopyle, there is a backroad right where all the raft rentals are (directly above the falls). if you take this straight up the mountain until you get to a "t" in the road (there will be a church right infront of you - this is MayWest Rd.) make a left and you are about 2 miles from confluence. The show is held around the Ford dealership in town. I'll be there on my sporty today... Look for a guy with good lookin' blonde bitchin about how cold she is from riding the motorcycle!

pumpkin fest... now thats a funny show, we went there years ago and bout 25 of us entered our cars in the show. a tractor pulling a bail of hay won 1st place. hahahahaha

i have a few friends in confluence

i will keep an eye out for you guys cause i am taking my family along with a few other families are headin up ohioplye with us round 11 also.

i looked around for you guys but couldnt find ya, ohwell maybe next time. we did have a nice time up there also too. was a bit nippy but all in all not to bad.

It was really nice to meet some new like minded folks! Andrea and I had a good time, we wish we could have stayed longer - Hopefully next time! Thanks for allowing us to tag along.

Wish you could have stayed, after we left we got on Rt. 31 and went to Glades Pike Winery and did some taste testing. Ended up buying 2 bottles!
