    my new intercooler is done

    1989 GT Black,full 16 pt MOLY 8.50 CERT.
    461w Dart block w/ 4 bolt-all 5 caps
    EAGLE PENDULUM CUT ESP ARMORED 4.250

    Nice. But your bov is on the wrong side. Should be before the cooler and close to the blower.

    remember i have a blow thru carb its a little different than TB
    also i dont see why it would matter

    ya as soon as those plates close it needs to get out there i think im gonna put on on the hot side piping anyway cuz i got a 77 tooth crank pulley on the way
    anybody that needs anything tig welded let me know
    my buddy is a professional welder at elliot company
    he can weld his ass off
    the weld on my piping are gorgeous
    he is very reasonable on price
    he came to my house i did the cuts he did the welds
    (brought his welder there on a trailer) (its a brand new lincoln over 8 grand)
    only 100 dollars
    you can't beat that
    i have less than 500 into my whole set up
    anybody that knows aluminum ----mandrel bends are crazy priced

    looks good man... There has been debate forever on what side of the intercooler to put the BOV. Good arguements on both sides, put it where it fits best and call it done ;)

    Looks good man. Almost similar to my cooler, did you have one on before?

    Blow-through, methanol injection, big intercooler, cold fall air......might run GOOD, better have good fuel and traction

    Something my tuner said to me, which makes a little sence if you think about it, is, you should have it before the cooler so the not needed air is discharged before it has a chance to go through the cooler. The air is going to be somewhat heated from the heatsoaked blower and will be unessasarily heating a cooler. If it goes out before the cooler, there is a better chance for the cooler to be cooled down more than if it was after. In theory it sounds good, especially for a cruising car where you are not always hitting boost. These blowers get real hot too.
