Favorite roads in Pittsburgh / Western PA?

Let's start a thread of our favorite roads for driving in and around the metro
Pittsburgh area, and what makes the road special? Some roads can be quite
long so be specific about the location and attraction.

    Here's to scouting cool roads

Old Rt. 56 between Rt. 156 in Shady Plain and Rt. 286 in Indiana..... Also, can break off of 56 and run Parkwood road until you hit Rt. 422 in Indiana.... both roads are a total blast, but recently were tar and chipped, so they will be iffy until next year .. once the chips get beat in, its a great stretch of road....

Also, I don't knwo the road number, but the route between Weedville and Wharton, PA.... its great fun and has fresh, new blacktop.... probably a good hour of driving at a spirited pace in my truck.... i think i could do it in 40 mins on the bike, maybe quicker... either way, a really fun set of roads with lots of twists, and then plenty of power-testing straights....

For high speed runs - 43. Like a barren wasteland, I've gone from Finleyville to 70 and passed maybe 6 cars in the middle of the afternoon. Smooth road except a few expansion joints on the bridges.

Rt 30 from Laughlintown to Schellsburg, lots of curves and elevation changes... Even better now with the fall colors. Then cut across to Rt 56 and head twards Windber.

It's not in Western PA, but the best road I've EVER been on is the road going up into the Rocky Mountains heading toward Estes Park. My uncle took me for a 20 minute ride in his Porsche one day when i was up there and it was by far the most fun i've ever had in a car. Sooooo fast.

YES! i totally forgot about 217... i've ridden this road MANY times on the bike - only thing to look out for is the slick surface right where the farm is, after you come through the one hard left hand turn (going from Aultman toward Blairsville)

gonna send you a PM about where you grew up... didn't know there were other hicks on here from that area - i grew up 5 mins from McIntyre

    7 sister's hill

It's off of RT56 in Apollo. 7 HARD turns coming up a steep hill side. It reminds me of tracks on Need for Speed
