I call the road "dunbar mountain". If you turn off route 119 between Connellsville and Uniontown at Butchko's, go through dunbar and follow the road to Chalk Hill Rd (leads to Ohiopyle), it's a lot of turns with a few short straights and up hill the whole way. fighting the gravity makes it twice as fun.

If anybody remembers, a few years ago, 3 kids died on this road. one of them was on leave from Iraq, got himself a 96-98 Cobra and crashed it on this road within 24 hours of the purchase. the popo estimate he was doing 130mph. there IS NOT one spot on this road to go over about 110mph on any machine in the world. I can see why they crashed. RIP to those three young souls, but it's still an awesome ride.

Rialto Street off of 28 leading up to my house. It is very narrow and very steep. It's the second steepest hill in the city, or so I've heard.

I've lived in my house for two weeks now and I'm amazed at the amount people that are afraid to drive up it or just are unable to navigate up it without messing something up.

Also, I don't knwo the road number, but the route between Weedville and Wharton, PA.... its great fun and has fresh, new blacktop.... probably a good hour of driving at a spirited pace in my truck.... i think i could do it in 40 mins on the bike, maybe quicker... either way, a really fun set of roads with lots of twists, and then plenty of power-testing straights....
my girlfriends parents live right off old 56, they just moved there........def lots of chips on the road yet

Route 85 from kittaning to indiana is great, super smooth really curvy in some spots

I'm once again surprised that anyone knwos this road exists... I haven't been there in a couple years, but when i used to drop by for a nice run, it was always covered in rocks from water coming down off the hill - always spoiling the fun.... If you're in that area, Dime Rd. between Vandergrift and Apollo is ok too... it goes past Locust Grove Country Shop

However you want to get there (from where I am, I would go to the turnpike), Route 31 in Donegal to 381 to Ohiopyle. Nice drive this time of year. Coming back, turn right onto 31, and follow 381 north/west, through some nice farmland, til it hits route 30. Turn right, go to Laughlintown Pie Shop a couple miles up the road. Turn left, head into Ligonier, Greensburg.

Its called laurel road its on the left coming from 286. If i understand it there are two laurel roads out there. If you pass ruperts machine shop then go to the intersection where 56 veers to the left up a big hill, the road is right after that on the left. They live a few houses back that road, right past the garage with the calypso green 4 cylinder sitting in front of it

Really? thats your fav? it is not bad except when a big SUV is coming the other way.

The GTO has no problems pulling up it at 2500rpm, the Saturn on the other hand is ummm... scary.

    Can't wait till winter.

It's no parking because its a 2 way street and about 2.1 cars wide... it is the fastest way up onto Troy Hill tho without having to drive around by the Penn Brewery
