    motor building question

    i just picked up a motor this weekend, I am new with building a motor but being guided by a mech, so just learning,

    i was cleaning the short block and noticed the numbers on the piston rods and noticed there are 2 number 8s ? is that right or did some one swap a pistion or replace and if they did will it be ok ?

    someone swap one our the caps are on wrong

    who cares? the motor was running before. clean it, and dump it in your car. no wonder your project is up to 13 months. :)
