The mustang is no slouch in cornering either. I didn't base my opinion on just going straight. I can't say I hate all vette's though. I do like a 1967 with the 427 and aluminum head option. Now that is a Vette I would like to have. Also, it isn't that I think they are ugly. Least not this generation. I guess its just the pricetag and the snotty ****ss who drive them. Granted all cars have their a-holes or trucks for that matter. Would I own one? Well I would have to have way to much extra cash laying around for me to buy one though lol. I mean people like to run into my truck let alone if I owned a vette.

there is no doubt that a c6 vette (in any trim) runs pretty good....the zo6 and the GT comes down to a drivers race...starting the modding war will jus prove who has deeper pockets lol Im not a real big fan of the ZR1...600+ hp is nothing to overlook but for the money I would expect more...if I was forced to pick a vette I would go with a jet stream blue ZO6 and slap a twin screw on it. now that would be impressive lol I dont think I'll ever be in the market for a vette though lol they're jus not my cup of tea....both sides of the argument have valid points and the "ifs" always seem to come out but thats just how it is. bottom line: buy whatever you like, mod the hell out of it (if you so choose), enjoy it, and most of all agree to disagree and get along..its only cars lol
made some noise....and some boost...and 377/442 rwhp/rwtq
Black 1998 GT- PI swap, 3.73's, off road h pipe, flows & some suspension goodies
White 1986 GT T-Tops- BBK shorties, RAM clutch/flywheel, Bassani catted x pipe, MSD ignition, MAC cai, LMM lowering springs, adjustable skocks & struts, MGW short throw, DD
Black 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6- custom levers, -1 front sprocket, Jardine GP-1 exhaust, HIDs, custom undertail, custom black windscreen.
Pricetag? 40k for a LS3 Vette coupe... seems reasonable to me..
ZR1 expected more? One of the fastest production cars to ever lap the Nurburgring for barely over 100k? Go look at the top lap times for the Ring and then look at the prices for all of those cars... the ZR1 is a bargin.
