Well at one point yeah I did kind of run this place. Nick and I helped Lou build this site years ago. The logo in the top left corner was designed by PITTspeed's own Starboy.

MBH- The joke that went over my head was like water under the bridge. i wasn't bitching in any way shape or form. I was just saying that it was funny how quick i got ripped on for being from SCS. Yes, I do have a strong opinion of that place but I don't post over there and cry about it when they act like dicks. Why do you post here at all if you don't like it? Just hit the door if that is the case.

+1 i got called out by this guy that i dont know, and i made no comments about! if you were instrumental in the construction of the site why would you jump into a thread with no neutrality?

i didnt start talking shit on that darkstar guy because he drives a vette or is an active member of pitt speed, i said he was a dick because the first few comments in the new member post on pitt speed did nothing but rip on the car i drive and rip on the site that im a regular member on that i like!

all the chevy guys immediately band together start ripping on me because i said id like to catch him out in my dads car. its true i would like to see him out around kittaning! he may be faster he may be not! im not going to play that game because it doesnt matter what you have there is ALWAYS someone faster. and no its not my car, my car is plenty quick for all the more i have in it and its a work in progress. i dont have an excess of money i can just throw into the car.

I would bet there are few Terminators around here that could give him a heck of a run for the money! Some of the cars described in posts on here have some serious power parts added.... Vette, Mustang, Charger.... none of that really matters in the end. What matters is something that is very basic to the rules of racing...... He who has the most CUBIC DOLLARS can, and often will WIN!

I wouldn't say that, LS motor cars run neck to neck with the cobras stock to stock. If your refering to a pulley change, it probably costs about as much to do it right as it does to bolt some stuff on yours.

not always, you just need a good combo that works.

there area few on the board who have budget setups that run very very well for what is spent on them.

Playing with 460/454/440 engines in sled pulling, money seems to rule the roost. There is a clear advantage that with OEM parts one manufacturer or another depending on the engine class seems to have an advantage... but once you get into racing parts, the OEM advantages start to fall away and you see that the man (woman?) who can afford the best of the best... the un-obtainium.....they tend to break into the 4 digit numbers first and go further past the 1,000HP mark than the folks on more of a budget.
