MBH- The joke that went over my head was like water under the bridge. i wasn't bitching in any way shape or form. I was just saying that it was funny how quick i got ripped on for being from SCS. The fact that they jumped on SCS like sharks when blood hits the water was absolutely hilarious. It wasn't in my post, but my flamesuit was deffinately equipped. I would bet there are few Terminators around here that could give him a heck of a run for the money! Some of the cars described in posts on here have some serious power parts added.... Vette, Mustang, Charger.... none of that really matters in the end. What matters is something that is very basic to the rules of racing...... He who has the most CUBIC DOLLARS can, and often will WIN!

Playing with 460/454/440 engines in sled pulling, money seems to rule the roost. There is a clear advantage that with OEM parts one manufacturer or another depending on the engine class seems to have an advantage... but once you get into racing parts, the OEM advantages start to fall away and you see that the man (woman?) who can afford the best of the best... the un-obtainium.....they tend to break into the 4 digit numbers first and go further past the 1,000HP mark than the folks on more of a budget.
