Funny to see this thread, I was just thinking about this after browing Pittspeed. It definitely feels like it's going down hill over there. For example, some guy just posted a dyno pull of his 570 WHP Del Sol. That's pretty cool and pretty impressive. Instead of feedback and props, he got flamed. That's just downright silly. I love the concept of a forum for all local car enthusiasts, and Pittspeed has really helped me out in the past and I'll continue to visit it- but the general atmosphere over there is starting to move into the "truly absurd" zone sometimes.

The site has some really cool members and some awesome sponsors- it's not all ricers and douchebags. It could really be a goldmine for the owners if they'd clean it up just a tiny bit.

I found your post. Seems that some of them are really anti American car, some seem to be normal... and then there is the guy DarkStar. He falls under his own catagory. I guess you could look at the user CP and see if you can place an ignore on his account. That might be the easiest way to deal with him. Ignore the ones that are a bit abrasive and make new pals with the ones that are normal and accepting of others.
