I like the power of the ZR1 but, I just don't like vette's or vipers that much. I would rather have a modded Cobra/Shelby or even a modded up Camaro/Trans Am then any of the vettes or vipers. Course after dealing with darkstain I would love to run over a vette Prefferably being their fault and me having 20 witness's so my insurance doesn't go up anymore lol.

Can the stock bottom end of a vette/Z06 handle the same amount of power that a stock bottom end of a 03/04 Cobra can? We all know a stock bottom end of a cobra can handle almost a 1,000hps. I'm asking cause I don't know

When i bought my LS1 T/A, it was going to be cheaper to insure a vette than the T/A....
it most definitely has to do with the demographic that typically drives corvettes... even with the power the car has and the type of car it is, there is likely a low claims experience for it...
Its the same reason that its pretty much as expensive for a under 25 individual to insure a Honda Civic as it is to insure a sports car... idiots drive them - idiots wreck them - high claims experience = high rates
