    Question good fuel trim numbers?

im not really too sure what a good number for short term or long term fuel trim is, but my car seems to bog at low RPM and i looked at the fuel trim on my xcal3 and for short term and long term it was 1.0. just wondering if that seems right. i had it tuned by MPH and they turned my 02 sensors off so that may have something to do with it. setup is in sig

o2's off means they forced you in an open loop tune. Thats probably your problem right there. Your fuel system is not doing as it should. Open loop seems to be the thing for racers or fast tunes. I was tuned in a open loop before. Yeah, it ran its ass off during wide open throttle. Driveability sucked though. Then I git a closed loop tune and drivebility was awesome, power was not there though. Still cant figure that out though. Anyways, I went with an over kill fuel system and will be getting another re-tune come May or June. We will see then how it acts.

that is exactly what mine, is. ive been told by multiple people that tim at MPH tunes for drag cars or dyno queens. im gunna throw a 24# pulley on and take it to panhandle performance (in florida closer to me) who tunes more for driveability vs making 15 or 20 more hp.
