    Yes, snow tires on 15inch v6 rims. Even with 4.10's my mustang was a beast in the snow. Also I think I used 2 100lb sandbags.

    with the 17s now, i can barely get up the slightest grade of a hill without spinning, spinning around and going back down to an alternate route..lol. took me and hour and a half to get home from work one day when it usually takes 15 mintes..

    I have studded rear tires on the stock wheels for winter in my green car. Along with 4 bags of salt in the trunk It works quite well

    honestly, i live out in the boon docks and our roads are never treated and i don't have any more issues than anyone else has on the roads without a truck. I've actually passed people who were stuck on multiple occasions. Makes me wonder how bad they suck at driving I just don't get into the throttle much and keep it slow & steady. lol I also wash it 1-3 times a week. Sometimes every day! God i need a cheapo truck...

    When I drove my Stang in the winter (years ago), I had "performance" 17" snow tires mounted on my stock rims. I had no problems in the snow at all.
