    got the heads off tonight, thanks again Dan. happy to see how good of shape the pistons were in. just need to decide wat is getting torn out of the engine bay and wat needs to stay

    yea..very very little ridge on the bores..and i didnt feel any piston movement

    i voted for pulling the shortblock out and cleaning it up and put a new clutch in. and a tubular k-member lol

    X2 at the least a clutch!! it will need done shortly after new motor goes togethe anyways probably... do it ll at once!!

    id drop the pan put new seals and oil pump in it..just for safe keepings since its that far.... but thats just me

    the car has 120,000 on it, and as far as replacing some stuff, its deff getting a new clutch, all of the smog and emissons stuff is gone, the ac is gone, and maybe a few other things, Id like to cut down the wiring harness as much as possible.

    Id also like to paint the block while I have it torn apart
