Hi Guys,
Checking in from South Central PA. I have a 95 Sapphire Blue 5 speed GT with about 130k miles (odo gear needs fixed) that I just purchased this months, replacing my previous GM product that went through four transmissions in my ownership (yay used car warranties). Carfax labels this car as a GT/GTS, not sure if that's of any meaning or not.
I've never had a car that has really had aftermarket support like this one, and while I'm NOT new to auto mechanics (I have my inspection license, but currently in college), I am quite new to the mod world. My first planned mod is GT40 heads/intake and cam.
So far, she's received new front tires to replace the crazy tracking goodyear runflats, and a front end alignment. She needs a blower motor resistor, odo gear, front seats (drivers side is torn kinda badly and it clicks when you try to move the power adjustment forward or back), elimination of a vibration squeak you hear over big bumps or when you're cruising along in a high gear at about 1350-1400 rpm and 4000 rpm if you're getting on it, figure out why the BBK FPR drops pressure immediately after key off (requires priming before starting), and a few other small things a 14 year old car is expected to need.
Current mods that I know of are: B&M Short throw shifter, Flowmaster exhaust, BBK H-pipe, no cats, MSD blaster coil, BBK Fenderwell Intake, 3.73 posi rear end, BBK adjustable FPR, BBK 70 MM Throttle Body
