Ever forget you owned a car?

    This guy did
He had this and a i think a 73 firebird both stashed in a garage since 87, we pulled this one out and got it running for him. The roofs gone on the garage you can see through it everywhere. He literally forgot about the garage and it went to pieces. just over 2000 original miles on both, both cars are original EVERYTHING and both the same color. They were sitting in about a half an inch of water, this one is absolutely perfect. The other is going to need some body work now...... The quarters by the rear windows on it took it hard.

    just not one, two cars
he works out of town alot, the garage is about 6 miles away from his house.
said he hadnt been in the garage for 15 years. last time he drove the cars when i was born. it went a total of 3 miles from the time it was inspected to the time it was parked.

im pretty sure it was a 1973 it had a 400 in it too, same color car. it had white interior. the paint was nice on it too minus the a silver dollar size rust spot on the rear quarter. they were brand new when they were parked just sitting in a bad environment.

I'm not a big Firebird fan, but that's a nice looking car! Neat color combo as well - and with the 400 instead of the 301 or whatever the small V8 was for those things. Who'd believe a car that clean would come out of a garage in such horrible shape?? If we were closer to April 1 I'd swear this was a joke...
