Well I recently got interested in photography and actually taking it seriously and investing both time & money into it as a hobby so willingly I'll probably be purchasing a new camera/extras come christmas time!

More specifically heading towards the first viper shot, evo, tire stack, fox, blue vw, partial engine bay, ferrari gauge, yellow viper, super duty, and ccw wheel. The classy look is what I'm gonna go for although I know it will be hard!

where did you find these pics at??? Im sure all of them are PS.. IM still waiting for my buddy to load it on my computer for me. It wont work every time i try it!!! I HATE COMPUTERS lmao!!!!!!

so what all are you looking to get into? Are you going to be taking classes? If so, I'd recommend that you get a camera & start shooting around with it before you go to class that way you know what's up and how to work your equipment. I've never taken any classes for it, so I'm not the guy to talk to. I'm not sure what they even make you do, but if you have any questions feel free to gimmie a call or something and I can probably help you out

Also for what its worth, a lot of those pictures have a fair amount of post processing done (i.e. lightroom/photoshop/etc), and that's not what you'll generally see coming out of the camera once you take a picture

Well I'm at RMU now but at home everyday and going for business management but this is the start of me getting real serious about photography and looking for the best shots around town etc.

As for the pics I found them all around and have alot more v dub ones if you like them.

20d,30d. Look into xsi. Just about the same. If not xsi better. I would go for a 40 or 50d. The price on the 5 is way too much imo. It would be great to have but go for something cheaper. 40 or 50d ftw.

buddy's computer isn't accepting the program. Just saw it first hand, so IDK what to do from here. It's not the minimum requirements, because it meets them... so we'll figure it out. But its frustrating when things that should work just don't.

And I'd say that the one thing about photography is that it's the one hobby that more people try to turn into a side business than anything else. I'm not sure why that is... probably because its expensive as hell, and some people have a real knack for it. I'm not saying you can't do that, I'm just saying that it might be more of a challenge than you think.

Also, I hate to say it but your body choices are ALL over the place. the 20d went out of production like 3-4 years ago, and the 5kmkii is like a 5000 body

Don't be afraid to get your feet wet, see if you like it (and are good/have time/etc) and then go for it. No shame in that

first post was brian, second post was me.

I shoot with a 40D, I like it a lot, have no gripes about it. Would have bought the 50D but would rather have put the money towards better glass (which makes a bigger deal than the body in a lot of situations).

Canon is also releasing a 7D pretty soon (or already have). It's somewhere between the 50D and the 5D. It's still using the APS-C sensor frame though, rather than the full frame of the 5D. Which again, if you're not sure what the difference is, that's all the more reason not to spend $5000 on a camera body

Another interesting note is that Brian and I have opposite set ups. I have a very good body & a pretty good lens, where as Brian has a pretty good body with a very good lens. They both get the job done, but each route has their trade offs

I do! That's awesome I've never seen all black with just the car like that. Good taste in auto too.
