Well, that's the risk he takes by doing it...

its not like its a horrible idea, but its not the best idea either........ Thus, i think the best idea is saving up a few bucks and buying a used bike...

I told him to just get a used bike until he's a little older so he doesn't get owned on insurance but he's into those 1125R Buells

    1125R buell FTW!!!!!

But he will have to carry full coverage on it, if he finances through the dealership thats the way harley(Eaglemark savings) does it

And you can get a brand new 1125r/ any buell for that matter for about the same price as a used i4

you know me too well, thats exactly what i was going to say..

Honestly i love the way our bike (harley/buell) sound and love the torque that they make.. And depending on the way you ride is what bike you should buy. My buddy trading his CBR600rr in on a 06 Sportster 1200 custom cause the riding he did was not suited for the cbr(long rides).. So he traded for the cruiser.. But for me i like going on long rides but i also love taking turns at 60+ and getting my bike leaned over as far as it can go so i got my buell.. Handles better than a sportbike(IMO) cause of the CG and the riding position im in and of course better than a harley. lol.. But my bike is also comfortable enough i go where ever the harley guys go.. So its all in the way you ride to determine what kind of bike you get..

But moral of the story HARLEY DAVIDSON(crusier)/BUELL(sportbike) is the American way

He's heading out to check out one tomorrow. It's going to be sweet to have another buddy with a bike to cruise with.

I'm just waiting for spring break to go pick it up. And i'm not sure where he is going, i think he said it's a left over 09 but i'm not positive. Funny you should say that, i'm planning my first ride to head up around ligonier.

i've been on little "test rides" before of friends bikes and stuff but i've never really been on an SS long enough to get completely comfortable on it. And i have to wait that long because i have indoor track meets every saturday and school all week.

A guy was asked how his bike made him feel and this was his response. I thought it was clever.

"For me it’s a blend of adrenaline and peace. Like sitting on a nice beach watching a thermonuclear mushroom cloud."
