How about this thingamajig ? It's titled as a motorcycle. Would not need a helmet in PA.

I saw one for the first time in person over the weekend. For around $20k there are about a million other things I'd much rather have
I don't want to go fast in anything that has 3 wheels.
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.
1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle
1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands
This was my first street bike (not exact pic --- stole from net). 1989 bought as leftover in 1990. IIRC, it was retail 3,290 and I got it for 2,999. 330lbs dry and about 25hp. So, really not much has changed... other than switching to MAN colors.
It topped out about 105mph. I was pissed because an Escort GT smoked me one night. Yeah, I said "Escort GT". Honda introduced the CBR600 F2 in 1991. Took me another year to save a couple bucks and I picked one up. 370lbs and 92hp (unheard of back in the day for a 600). Never had problems with any CARS after that.

and it was triple porno red... (again stolen from net)

Had a 2000 Bandit 1200 and a 2007 1250S. Traded the 1200 on the 1250. Sold the 1250 when I was no longer riding. Annual riding went from 9k/yr to about 200/yr. Wasn't worth keeping......so sold it and built an awesome pool deck. Loved them!!! Wife wants me to get another but I'm holding out.

That Bandit looks comfy... with a lot of power. Nice.
I like these things for some reason...

wow thats actually really cool. I had no idea anyone challenged the ninja250. That's kinda cool (except for the paint scheme).
My first "supersport" was a kawi ninja gpz 900 (the predecessor to the zx series). I never had issues with cars either, but man was I a squid. Its a miracle I lived out of my late 20's.
I really like the bandit, but I still have more of a sportbike streak in me. If anything I would lean toward the SV650 or its more "comfortable" derivative. To me, a sportbike is where its at in terms of performance. Apologies to all the cruiser lovers, but when it comes to handling, braking, acceleration, and overall performance for the price, the "big 4" are super competitive and its hard to beat the bang for the buck you get from these Japanese offerings.
What I can't figure out is that whole "LOLZ U HAEV TEH SPORTBIKE U CAN ONLY DO 170mph HAEV FUN TRYING TO RIDE MORE THAN 10 MILES OR JUST CRUISE LOLZ!" notion that some people have about sport bikes. Just because you own a "sport bike" doesn't mean you are always doing 10 mile wheelies at 150mph on the PA turnpike. That's like saying everyone who owns a <insert your favourite sports care here> is always <insert dangerous street BS here>.
Pavoratti doesn't have to hit a high C every time he goes out on stage, but its cool to know that he can. Same kinda thing to me when it comes to "sport bikes" and performance.
But yea, if I were to do something like that it would definitely be from Suzuki.
A somewhat nonricey review of entry level sport bikes:

kind of interesting their subjective marks. At least they didn't pull a Car and Ricer where the shittiest car wins 1st because of the mAd tYte InTeRi0Rz!1!1
I love those old 90's sport bikes!
Been on the look out for a 600cc starter bike, possibly over winter time once I sell my Cavalier. Something in the $2500-3000 range, even if it needs a little bit of cosmetic work that is OK too.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
My buddy had a '93 FZR600. Unlike current sportbikes that are geared to the moon, you could actually redline that thing in 6th gear... about 140mph if I recall. Those Yamaha always felt like the front wheel was nailed to the pavement. good stuff.
This is a nice little bike. Should def. import to US!
