Yup. As soon as this CBR is back together the trans is coming out of the Lincoln and getting rebuilt.

I just picked up the this 84 Honda V65 Sabre with only 15k miles. Its as nice as a 33 year old bike can be. Funds perfect and pulls like a freight train. I was searching for an 1982 Honda CB900F which I had three of over the years, and I found this and had to grab it. It will do as I begin to build my 80's Japanese Superbike collection.

It's been a long time since I've been on but I received a notification from this thread and timing was impeccable because I finally finished my seven year project.

Like a bucking bronco! I think we went a little to aggressive on the motor build, she doesn't like to putt around but runs like a beast when you're in it!

To aggressive....pfft....sounds perfect! I bet you'll get used to it after some more miles. Sure looks killer - what year is it and what are the specs on the motor?

This is sweet! I'd be all over this if my Forty-Eight didn't look similar. Funny, Victory had the 8-Ball, then Harley started Blacking Out everything. Now, Polaris owns Indian and they are kinda copying Harley who copied Victory who used to be owned by Polaris. Got it?

Are Victory bikes still a thing? Haven't paid much attention to motorcycle world over the last couple of years.

No, unfortunately Polaris dropped them back in January of this year.

tis more fun to ride a slow bike fast than ride a fast bike slow... or so I keep telling myself when I'm scraping the road with the bottom of my boots and the exhaust and puckering my butthole because I'm running out of road, brakes and talent. Jesus !!!
