i can't see the link b/c i'm at work...
What year/model is it Adam???
By thumper, i'm assuming you are talking about a 4stroke, but what is typically referred to as a "thumper" would be the 4-stroke MX bikes, which wouldn't have been around in the mid-90's... yamaha yz400/426 was the only beast on the market from '98 'til '02....
If you're talking about the big bore 2-strokes, yes they are VERY reliable bike.... the engines are well known for being absolutely bullet-proof... and they're very strong! I had a KTM 300 and was ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh so close to buying a 380 off craigslist (which may be the bike you posted above) just as a backup to the 450R.... Only problem with a KTM is maintenance costs... if you wreck it, and can't buy an aftermarket replacement, they're going to rape you for the OEM parts... anything OEM inside the motor, they'll drain your wallet... Other than that, they're great bikes!

Dan, damn you don't tempt me with the Nightster. that bike is what got me even looking at bikes again.
Bish, it's an LC4 620 that's been converted to supermoto.![]()

Ok - i don't know much about the LC4's.... but if they are built with the same quality as the dirtbikes, there's no doubt that its a good motorcycle...

I wanted to look into a 240 kit or at least new rims with a 200, which will fit in my stock swing arm. Unfortunately my headers, BAP, mufflers and tune took all my play money! Have I mentioned how ridiculous GT500 parts are!![]()
painting my plastic and maybe polishing the frame and swing arm
