Has anyone ever tried to switch an off road motorcycle to street legal in PA? I have a chance to get a KTM cheap, but I want to be able to make it street legal. I know in some states it's easy to do and in others it can't be done. Hopefully PA falls somewhere in between.

my dad bought a KLX300 about 10 yrs ago and he was able to convert it to street legal with a Baja designs kit. And i think i remember him saying he had to get an r-title for it for doing so, but im not sure and i dont see why it would mad a bike r-title. But it can be done and thats what i learned to ride on the roads. I know you have to have DOT on/off road tires and my dad just had spare rims with road tires when it needed inspected and put the knobies on for the woods.

Me and a buddy put on a good 250 miles since new years. I try to get out as much as I can but that wind is a killer.

I'm really looking forward to riding season, that's for certain..... Didn't get to put many miles on the bike last year (about 2000 - very dissapointing), as i was always busy with one thing or another. I get married in May, and will hopefully be building a home this spring - but once late summer comes, you can be certain I will be doing lots of riding again...........
