I will suggest getting the Continental ContiSportAttack or ContiRaceAttack Street tires.... I havent' used the RaceAttack, but i've had 2 sets of SportAttack's and they are great tires... good life and very predictable.... not the very stickiest tires i ever had (that would go to the Dunlop D207's), but far better than some of the other tires i've had.... i never liked the feel of the Pilot Power or Pilot Power 2CT... i felt that the Continentals were more stable and felt sticker when leaning the bike to its extreme... plus they kinda let you know when you're getting to the limit of their ability... I always had a lot of sliding on the PP's...

Right now i have a set of the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa's.... they are nice, but still not as nice as the Continentals, and they're quite a bit more expensive... to boot, i didnt get to ride much last year, and my fiance loves to ride, so wasting away an expnsive tire riding with 2 kinda gets on my nerves....

I never used the D209's, but if they're anything like the D207's, i've have no fear at all leaning on that tire til the pegs drag... but, with that confidence comes the downside... my D207 front tires always wore really weird in the middle of the tire, and i would go through Rear tires in about 1000-1200 miles... yes, that's riding very hard, but i don't think it would matter too much how hard you ride - its just a damn soft tire...

Oh, one more suggestion... if you're going to be riding the bike alot, and you're on a budget, i would consider getting some of those Tomahawk tires.... when I had my TL1000R, and i was putting 15K miles per year on it (and in college) i needed to save some $$ and tried out the Tomahawks... I think i had the T3 pattern... truthfully, they were worth every penny... they were SURPRISINGLY sticky, and they lasted FOREVER! twice as long as any other tire i've owned... i had no concern about leaning the bike to the limit on those tires... I've seen a couple sketchy retreads, but if you get a bad one, they'll replace it .....

No doubt it was great to get out yesterday! ..... buddy and I road up to my camp to have an ice cold beer in the woods ... it was fantastic!!!

yup! I was at Z&M a few fridays ago and I sat on the blackline and wide glide. the wg feels waaay better to me. I am somewhat short at 5'8" and the blackline is low to the ground, but the weird drag bars and forward controls really clamshelled me up. the bars on the wg come right back into your hands. nice and comfy. I'll find a used 10/11 wg on craigslist that somebody already paid all the hd taxes on.

dude i got working for me got eclipses bike done today. scottys is almost ready to roll out... i know your waiting mark.. ill have cool pics uploaded for you by next weekend.. once im a lil better i wanna bring your cam cover to you and the wrong sprocket to send back.. cause i wanna send the tank to get bunged so its ready for paint with fender and oil tank. once i get wheels spacers i can mount rear fender and its all ready for paint while i make the new wiring harness....if things keep up i need to invest in a second lift.. lol
