    It's been a busy weekend.

Yesterday, I pulled apart the front end, pulled the cluster out, and pulled it apart to replace the lens. My old one had what it appeared to be brake fluid stains and a crack that I'm assuming came from someone trying to get the brake fluid off and pushing too hard. Luckily, my buddy just picked up an '03 R1 for a track bike and allowed me to swap lenses.

Next, I pulled apart the tail to get the taillight out so I can install my Clear Alternatives integrated one. I also pulled the brackets off of the fender eliminator for the old turn signals since the Competition Werkes eliminator allows you to do so without cutting. No pics of it in action because I pulled the battery back out before I took these pics.

Today, I installed my new Pazzo shorties and finally threw away those hideous long, fake carbon fiber ones. I went with black with the gold adjusters.

My new front flushes are in the mail. They should be here next Wednesday. Besides possibly a new set of mirrors, that will be the last thing that goes on before spring.

Integrated tail. Nothing special, just a work in progress pic...taillight in, signals gone....

New cluster lens and Pazzo shorties...

    More Pazzos....

    Is it spring yet?

    My 05 gsxr

My 2005 Suzuki GSXR 600, it has: D&D pipe, nice clean under tail with led turn signals. Tinted double bubble windscreen, flush mount led front turn signals, mich pilot tires, new sun star sprockets and X Ring chain, K&N air filter, Frame Sliders (just in case) installed over 50 hidden red leds underneath the plastic to light her up at nite. Trying to post a pic but it will not let me. Not sure why

    Thanks...

Oh, and that was definitely the previous owner. I ride without a keychain. I had my 6R for 3 years from the time it was brand new and not one mark. Unfortunately, other owners don't use the same logic.

Sounds sweet. Try using photobucket to host a pic and then copy and paste the link in here.

This is interesting. I was looking at a new Buell Lighting back in '06 after I sold my 6R. Then after realizing that each and every Harley dealer was a dickhead, I dropped the American sport bike idea.

I've heard that these early ones are notorious for a ton of problems tho. I'm curious to see what you do to it.

+10 on that Stieny. They treated me like sh!t before they canned Buell. Afterwards, I was non-existent.

On a heavier note, Supercross is not for pu$$ies. Anybody see Justin Barcia case that triple in Anaheim Saturday night? He broke his nose and his helmet or goggles put a gash above his eye that needed stitched up.

It definitely looked like it hurt. He would have made it if he was riding Yamaha. :p

I know some of the the earlier ones were known to have some electrical issues. I've never rode a pre-2003 to its limits, but they are supposed to be torque monsters even more so than their younger counterparts.

Just a bad business decision by HD Motor Company

I don't think most Harley dealers where overly enthusiastic about selling into that segment. Most where forced by HD Motor Co leaving a bad taste for dealers which I'm sure eventually made it's way to the consumer.

Also let face it, most dealerships where too busy selling $20,000 HD bikes to pay attention to a $8,000 "none Harley buyer"which was stupid on their behalf!!

Anyway the proof is in the pudding as we see where Buell is today! It's a real same because they were really cool bikes! I'd like to pick up a Lightning XB12 someday ... for sure!

well, they should've stuck with him. now, he's asking $40K for his bikes.

Think he likes his bikes? ... on the other hand he's basically using the low production on-off approach instead of mass production.

Wonder how many he's sold at $39,999?? :D

    What a joke.

    I'll take a Panigale S tri-color and pocket the other 15k.
