i think you'll really struggle to find one .... they're not made anymore, so there are very few left..... luckily, i wear a XXL, so i picked it up on closeout from SPTG - them and one other site had them on closeout and XXL was the only available size.... i got the last one at SPTG.... it was originally a $700+ lid, so people that have them in a popular size are wanting a fortune... i bought mine for $300

I had the itch after work to take the bike for a spin and charge the battery real quick since I threw it back in the last time we had some nice weather.

a Harley is like a v6 mustang. Yea it can be made to be loud and ride great and look good, but it just lacks performance and fun and the butt pucker factor..

Even if a Harley was quick, it would handle like shit and the seating position would be impossible to really RUN it hard.

Yes I have. And was not impressed. The only cruiser I am impressed with are the new victory series. They have ALOT more power than any Harley. And yes I have even rode a newer modded v-rod when I have my cbr1000rr.. We switched when we went riding and the next day he traded it on a gsx1000r. And he is an old guy just like adam. I hate to say it but most every cruiser owner says that the jap bikes are junk and uncomfortable and this and that but yet they never owned or rode one and just make the blanket statement that they are young kids bikes that just go fast. To call a Harley is a manly bike is also ignorant. Its an OLD MANS bike, a manly bike is a bike that you can push to the limit of dragging your knee and know that bike is sticking and you crank the throttle out of the turn and spin it up to 14k rpm, shift and do it all over again.

And im not saying it being fast makes it fun. its what all the bike can do is what make jap bikes fun. And to this day I still say my most fun bike I ever rode and had was my buell and it was not fast. It was fun.

Just like you I have my opinions based off my experiences. I've had a ZX and GSXR when I was a prepubescent and now that I wear big boy pants I ride "old manly bikes"

Bike looks great. I had too much to do with the fiancé and couldn't get out on Saturday. Hopefully I'll get some seat time this week.
