Like I said over on R1 forums, I'd check the cct.

But as for a shop, I've spoke to and liked Bentley's Yamaha on 22. I know they have done extensive repairs on customer's bikes before and they seem pretty competent.

Ok, brainiacs... got a question. How do you know if a Harley has the Stage 1 Download or not? I've been looking at this Night Train on fleabay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NIGHT...item4855555fd3

i emailed and ask if it had a tuner installed under the seat or if it had Stage 1 Download. He responded: It runs great. no problems.

I'm too OCD to accept that. So, if the fuelie has an intake and exhaust and runs good, you just assume it's got the download?

Can any HD dealer run the VIN and see if it's been downloaded at any other dealer?

Ask him where the work was done and get the vin then call the shop.

Go check the bike out? Pull the seat and look at the ECM. If the ECM is still stock (not an auto-tuner) ride it. With a stage one breather and exhaust the bike will sputter and ride like shit if it doesn't have the download.

On a side not Brad Harris doesn't sell junk but the bike is mostly something he picked up at the auction. He prices his bikes to sell AKA no pricing games like you typically see at a HD dealer .... the price is the price and its fair! An 06 at any other HD dealer would be $15,900 all day long!
