Who has run the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires? Got a chance to get a deal on em and they would probably be an upgrade to my stock PIlot Street bias-ply.

Had them on my Buell... loved the handling and grip, but didn't keep bike long enough to test out the durability. From what I read at the time, they are the t1ts if you are riding 70-80% which most of us do on the street. They're pretty affordable, too. I used to get a lot of deals from this place... www.sportbiketrackgear.com I think they're in Michigan, so shipping wouldn't be too bad for you... plus their sale videos are hilarious.

It lives! finally got it out today....and then it started raining
Nice... mine's been on the Tender all Winter/Spring. Took it to get inspection today and straight back home, put exactly 6.9 miles on it. :) Last year's inspection receipt odometer reading was 2,007. This year 2,237. What a shame. 230 miles... but still 4 trips to gas station. LOL.

Meanwhile, your bike is like the Miata of the Sportbike world... all handles and no powa. You can probably hold that thing wide open in 6th down any road you want with no problems.
bawahahahaha
Takes a real man to ride a Harley, TQ to HP ratio is 3:1 and the material they build the frames out of is almost as stiff as an al dente piece of linguine... if the "good" welder worked that shift.

After buying my Triumph Rocket III, it would be hard for me to ride anything else. Rides smooth at all speeds. Handles great. And how many other cruisers have over 160 torque from the factory?

Had a chance to ride a 17 SV650 and a 17 GSXR600. Liked the SV a lot but man the GSXR was nuts. My memory of my '89 GPZ ("Ninja") 900 is a little fuzzy, but I'm 99% sure this bike was faster with 300cc less. The acceleration was so... violent... at any speed in any gear. I definitely need way more seat time before I even consider today's generation of 600 supersports.
in a related vein...
dealer thing or Suzuki thing? that's pretty cool.
here's Yamaha going full circle trying to make logical sense. Now, it's called FZ-10. Used to be FZ-1 and R1 is still R1... #confusionsetsin

Combination effort. Its a traveling road show where Suzuki bring a strong representative sample of their lineup and you get to try a bunch to see what you like. I also tried a Boulevard C50 and I dig the cruise vibe but lean angle sucks :)
Funny you mention Yamaha because they happened to be within an hour's ride of me doing the same thing Suzuki did so I gave the FZ-07 and FZ-09 a rip (bitched out and didn't bring an R6 though). Inadvertently lifted the front wheel on the FZ-09 just from a hard roll of the throttle lol!
IMO, the FZ-10/1/whatever looks better in pics than in person. The proportions are a little off for my taste, but man does it want to pull mad stuntah action.
EDIT: Number 7
