Lol well when do you plan on doing the swap? i could either do it for you or lend you my tool doesnt matter? i could do it wednesday night down at the shop for ya. like after 5. i got a truck coming in for all 4 tires then ill be free..tomorrow im jammed i have to be in pgh bout the new harley and to pick up hardwood flooring then get my ol mans truck inspected and some other crap

I dont have the heads yet. I was going to get them friday but some things came up that hit the old bank account. So I wont be getting them until the next paycheck.

hey man not a problem.. buy a bike too i can help ya out with all kinda tools for that crap too lol.. i have like $600 worth of bike special tools coming in this week..thats the only thing i miss bout working for the dealerships...they had all the speciality tools...now i gotta supply everything since im running the bike side of the shop...but its cool i can always usem ill be turning wrenches till i die lol

Im up in the air about throttle bodys and have no idea what size to get. I have read on a few places that 70mm can be better than 75mm sometimes because it can give better throttle response. I was leaning towards a 75 until I saw some of that stuff on Corrall. Would a 90mm be overkill for my setup? There is always that option too. Im going to a fox style throttle setup so i have to get a new throttle body anyway. I just want to to get the right one the first time ha. Any input would be great.

are you still at a 302? or atleast smaller than a 331? What kind of boost you plan on running? You have to factor all that in when decided which setup you should go with, What are you goals with the car hp wise? Biggest is not always the best and there is such a thing as over kill

Yea after some further research I think I'm going 75mm. Its a 302, stock block so the boost probably wont be more than 10. A 90mm would be good if I had an aftermarket block, but with this stocker, Im going to go the 75 route I think

I was always under the impression that you need to worry more about the exhaust side than the intake side when boosting an engine. Yeah it may be different with high boost, but with moderate boost levels I doubt you'll really notice anything different if you tried all three throttle bodys.

The going has been slow on this because christmas = lack of money for car stuff. I have got some stuff and made some progress though. My valve covers and heads came. I got Gt40 heads and they lok like any other iron head but these are the valve covers.




I also got the trunk all sanded down and primed up




i was tossing around the idea of going manual steering because of how much it cleans up the engine bay. Whenever I posted something about it on corral, a guy offered me a straight up trade, his manual setup for my power stuff. His 94 cobra has turned into more of a daily driver so he wants power steering back. So with the help of chris and caleb I got the steering rack and power steering cooler out.









I'm not sure how much more I'll get done before christmas but probably not much if anything.

a centri blower, the boost is not all there at once. It takes time to build up to max boost... A Roots stlye is an instant kick in the pants



I know what would look great under the hood of that car that would lighten it up and clean it up.. A brand new AJE tubular front suspension
