TO bearing??? that was my issue for a hard pedal
x 2 on the TO bearing??
When the TO bearing went bad on my '95 SHO, it ended up grinding thru the fingers on the pressure plate. Yes - THROUGH! After enough of the fingers were damaged or completely severed, the car was basically impossible to shift. What really sucked was that the clutch disc was almost new, but of course I had to replace the whole shootin' match.
That job SUCKED! ( money AND time ).
At least on a Mustang it is a quick and easy job by comparison.

make sure its installed right. my was in wrong thats why it made noise I had the point of the TO bearing facing inward
Check the routing of your cable. Make sure there aren't any severe bends. I'd also ditch the BBK cable and buy an OEM Ford cable. They're proven to be much better quality than any aftermarket cable.
