'66 Stang from N.C. For Sale

I'm sure some of you have already come across this, but a friend asked that I put it up where other Mustang people might see it.

All I can say is, I know nothing more than what the ad states. And that it has been for sale for several months. My understanding is "it needs to go".

Could be some room to negotiate. I believe his price may be preventing the sale.

I looked at this car......and yes, IMO his price is preventing the sale.

So what is wrong with the car? Not solid? Sub-par body work and paint? Not an original V8 car ( still 4-lug? )? All the above? Just curious.

I didn't bother looking at the floor boards and frame rails.....the bodywork/paint job/interior showed it to be more of a 6500-7500 car...assuming it's structurally sound.

It is a 5 lug car though.

I was passing through and stopped to look...never talked to the owner.

    Kinda what I thought.....

As I mentioned, I put this up for a friend of the guy selling. Never talked to him personally, or even seen the car.

There is no question that there are folks here on the site far more capable of determining what the car should sell for. Which is why I went ahead and posted it.

For the right person, at the right price, it would probably be a decent ride.

Anyone that knows anything at all, please feel free to post it up.

    Thanks,

    Jim
