8.8 ranger rear end in a stang?

the houseing itself will not bolt up, rangers are leaf spring, and you mustang has 3 trailing arms and 2 coil springs, however, if you get some 31 spline axles the ring gear carrier will work. and the gears themselfs are universal 8.8 gears, they will go right in.. most rangers are 3.73:1..

Get one from newtakeoff. It will come with the cobra flange and whichever gears you want. I've had mine in there for a year with no problems.

I don't think the carrier would work, there's no provision for the upper control arm on the Ranger carrier.
