i love this quote at the end of the article:
"having money doesn't necessarily mean you have the skill to drive a supercar"
^soooooooooo true
I agree 100% however I'm not sure what kind of insurance group would insure a veyron or what it would cost, but I'm sure that guy's trying to get his money's worth :(
Have you seen one up close in person? They make a very powerful impression, and IMO they're a very good looking design. I've seen a red/black and silver/blue.
oh, you mean the kit car that looks like a wedge of cheese with a turbo'd LSX stuffed into it trying to pretend its a supercar?

I think a Saleen S7tt is a much better example of American supercar engineering, even if it's a bit slower
You tell me which one looks like a legit manufacturer's website, and which one looks like a kit car website

and for what it's worth "fastest" is relative. You'd be verrry hard pressed to find a car that can beat a veyron on the street. AWD + automated manual transmission + underrated 1001 hp = domination

1mph faster isn't it? look out!!! (256 vs 257 is just a headwind... and nobody in their right mind would ever go that fast or have enough room to do so). I think the way they deliver the acceleration might surprise you, since the veyron won't have any type of traction problems to speak of

WTF is going to keep up with that on unprepped road
