Took a break and drove over to Rottinberg. It's a mideval walled city, in the mid south of Germany. Some say it was uesd as the background for Pinocio.

Very Nice Bob. There are a ton of hidden towns like that there. I cant remember all the ones that I stayed at when I was there. You go to any castles yet?

Thanks everyone! It's neat in pictures but traveling for work isnt all sight seeing. You have got to try really working with other language speakers, different voltages, regulations, and even cultures to get the real effect :D

We are wroking a bit north and west of the area pictured so it's been colder (and freaking darker) than it is at home. We got lucky with a nice November day so we blew off work and drove 4 hours south :D Roughly the same weather as home. I was in a mid weight fleece and it was too much yesterday but have been wearing my light winter jacket this week. Saw a lot of bikes out for rides yesterday.

You go to any castles yet?

I've been here a ton of times and done about everything over the years (seen lots of castles and palaces). I really had no plans this trip to sight see but we burned out and saw the sun for the first time so we blew off Saturday work and jumped in the car :D

Probably not real fair. This town is a walled city and a major tourist attraction so there are people going around cleaning all the time. Even this far off season there where probably 20 busses there on day trip. I'm staying / working in a major city this time (Essen) and it's as filthy as any city I've been too in the world ;)
