    Friday trip goes from good to bad

    Vitaleffects and I went out to Volkers to have Jeff look at the cobra, then headed over to LMM. We got to finally meet Lou, bought $500 worth of stuff, then started home.

    We stop at Wendy's, go back out to the car, and it doesnt start. Ugh. After 15 minutes and 15 trys, it starts. Off we go. Now soon as we forget about that problem the thing cuts out again. 75mph on 70 and it dies. No fun. Pull over, sit, then it fires. 18 miles happens again. 5 miles. 13 miles, and so on. It took us 2.5 hours to get home. Much fun.

    We never had a chance to check for spark or FP...since we were on 70 & 79 the whole way home.

    That would be the TFI. And yes, probably the issue.

    probably the TFI module...when they overheat your car will shut off..a lot of people relocate them

    yeah have converted to GM module and relocated and have not had problems since
