i surely hope so! lol i was gonna get a .338 win mag. but decided on this and then im gonna get a .375 H&H mag. but i wanna do some pistol hunting too. me n my buddy went to the range tonight he got a .44mag redhawk when igot the coach gun. so he wanted to shoot it so i dug my .44mag super blackhawk bisley hunter out. and we popped off a box each. love shooting the .44 were gonna look into scopes for them soon.

    I've used a 30.06 Ruger M77 Mark II for about 10 yrs.

Even with cheapo ammo it's unbelievably accurate......like 1" groupings at 100 yds.

    That's a nice piece IMO.

yea i like rugers. i love my grandpa's M77/22 bolt i use it for groundhogs on the farm... i mostly love this 300win mag because i was able to special order it and it matches my 44.mag same laminate. im hoping some day i can get a left hand bolt .22mag to match too. its hard getting left hand bolts tho lol i got a .22lr thats right handed that i got used to shooting its just wierd at first

i just hate being left handed. harder to find bolt action guns. gotta order new ones lol... taking the 300win mag to the farm to get it sighted in and ready to drop a deer. unless i drop one with the truck once it gets back lol

I shot my .06 and .44 today.....first time in years I had to move the sights. I did bump it off a tree last yr so I can't be too surprised. Made one adjustment 3/4" to the right and it's 1" high at 100yds and dead nuts at 50yds.

Took 5 shots total and I don't remember getting rocked that bad in the past...should've worn a jacket. LOL

Also got to remind myself where to aim the .44 (iron sights).....I'm comfortable/confident up to 50 yds...anything after that and i'm reaching for the scoped gun. :)

Glad to hear you like yours...I think it's a quality piece.

Just mounted up a Nikon Monarch EER 2.5-8X on my TC contender pistol. It is bad ass with the 45-70 barrel I have for it. Scope is great, super clear and the reticle is easy to see.
