    Just do what I did Ray, ditch the 3V 5.4L PIG in favor of a HEMI. I convienced that the Lincoln would not run as good as the HEMI even with a supercharger. The Wife and I went shopping last night and I ran away from a tuned 09 Super Dutw Powerstroke. Only downside is the HEMI is limited to 106 mph. Guess I need a tuner to fix that. :D

    That tuned 09 was obviously not tuned right and was probably still running the DPF!

    It was about even from 35 to 75 , but from 75+ the HEMI pulled away quickly. All I saw was a huge plume cloud behind me.

    We should try the 5.4 vs the hemi sometime. I am sure the hemi is faster but just to see by how much.

    I suprised you even bothered fixing the F-150 after hitting that deer. Figured it would be sitting at Davies still wrecked as you drove off in your new Super Duty.

    35 to 75 is where the 6.4 should have destroyed you. A good tune on one of those trucks should give you over 1000ft lb to the wheels. maybe he was in 2wd and just blowing the tires off?

    I'm sure stock for stock the HEMI is putting down 75-100 more HP which is pretty sad, but Ford keeps selling trucks so what do they care I guess. With the Whipple the 5.4's are putting down about 425-450 to the wheels on only about 10 PSI so there's a lot of room left if you wanted to build the motor and tranny. I may go that route someday, but I wanted to at least pay the thing off first. I still got a year or so for that.

    The 6.2 is comming out in the f150 next year. Said to be 400hp and 400tq. Ford might not have the most powerful engine right now but they do make the best built trucks. There is a reason they are the heaviest.
