    What GPS to buy?

    Anyone here have one?

I'm going to get my parents one for Christmas but I have no idea what's a good one.

Seems like the Garmin Nuvi's come in model range 750-1350....I do want to get them the larger 4.3 LCD screen since their eyesight isn't what it used to be. :)

I saw on Ebay they are listed for about $150...but the same model with "MAPS" is $190.

Don't they already come preloaded with maps on them?

I recommend any wide screen Garmin Nuvi for the reason's you mentioned. The Garmin's are a little more expensive than the TomTom but they are much much more reliable!

My first Nuvi did lock up, but they come with a one year warranty. I'm currently using the Nuvi 255W and have 0 complaints! Sams Club has them now for $119

There is a family and friends event at Advance Auto Parts November 26-29 only. I dont know if all Advance Autos are having this, but I was told to 'pass the info along to anyone'... so it might be worth it to check it out

They have a Nextar ME 3.5'' GPS on sale for 79.99, saving $40.

    I found it here for a 'review'..http://www.amazon.com/Nextar-ME-3-5-...tp_st_edpp_url

Go for Garmin...they are much more reliable. I would not get the Tom Tom...my parents had one before the Garmin and it told them to make an illegal u-turn. lol.
