    A MF'n rant

QUIT Fn TAILGATING. What is it with drivers not knowing or respecting or maintaining a safe distance between vehicles??? You hit someone from behind and you're 99.99999999% at fault. She just got rear ended again for the 2nd time in the past few months. It's such a royal pain in the ass to have to go through all the motions of estimates, etc when all you did was stop at a red light (she doesn't go for the 1st 3 seconds it's red you can go through). I wonder this jackass was on the phone as well - I do plan to find that out and make a big stink if he was. I can't drive drunk but you can babble about
in broad daylight when 10x the amount of cars are on the road, that's logical. I'm not condoning dui, I do support a ban on talking/texting while you drive and if you drink, drive and text you should be shot on site

There's too many idiots on the road, too many warning signs, too much ABS, too much airbags...strip all this stuff and maybe we can cleanse the gene pool a bit instead of building better idiots. When I was a kid you could stick your head out the rear window, our toys could kill you 9 different ways, we drank from garden hoses, ate paint chips, etc...now we get cars that park themselves. Idiots have no way of being the weakest link anymore.

People always ride my bumper. Doesn't matter what car I'm in. I just slow down to the actual speed limit and look around back and forth like I'm a tourist. They LOVE it!

When peeps tailgate me if i'm in my truck i usually spike the brakes hoping they'll hit me and they get a nice trailer hitch in there grill.

I usually do a brake check as well. Some jackass in a Lexus hit me once doing that and he was ballistic, I just kept telling it was a chipmunk in the road and he should contact the attorney general since he it wasn't his fault.

She's fine, which is the important thing. I haven't seen the car yet. Few months ago she was stopped at a red light and the kid behind her was texting and took his foot off the brake. I found a bumper and converted to duals. Can't wait to hear from his insurance.

Glad she is ok. That is definitely the important thing. It certainly could have been worse.

That being said, people are idiots. I hear ya there. One of them smacked me at 35+mph when I was stopped. F'n morons everywhere these days.
